We featured a Smoked Brisket Sandwich last fall and it was a big hit- so it's back for another go.
A full quarter pound of thin sliced, smoked brisket, served classic Texas Style on a toasted bun with coleslaw, pickles, onions and some dark sweet BBQ sauce.

Hot Doggies! It's Chili Dog Season
Once again, just like the swallows returning to Capistrano your favorite Chili Dog has returned to The Ox. This is no skinny convenience store dog on a dry bun, this is the real deal. A full 1/4 lb all beef dog with Blue Ox home made chili and your favorite toppings. This is just for January, so get down here ASAP!
More Hot Stuff for Cold Weather
Once again October has rolled around and the weather is about to go south on us. As promised, the cold weather special, Babe's Hot Roast Beef, is back on the special board. The recipe is the same as the last five years so come on down to fill your tummy with some comfort food. Only available until the first of March so eat meat and potatoes now!
Hot Stuff for October
Happy to say we finally got a new special into the works this week. The Oktoberfest Hot Pastrami is selling fast! We combined a BIG pile of steamed hot pastrami, smoked gouda cheese, some house made coleslaw, pickles and some Dusseldorf mustard with a fresh Pumpernickel bun. Dang, it was pretty good.
Get one to try yourself for only $7.99 while supplies last. This one should be good for October and November.
By the way- the Hot Roast Beef plate comes back next week for the winter, so get your appetite ready for some mashed and gravy along with our house cooked roast beef...
Brisket Coming Back This Week
We offered a big smoked brisket sandwich with coleslaw earlier this year. It was a big hit and many folks were crying like babies when the special ran out, but we had to make room for the Banh Mi again this summer. You will be glad to hear that the Banh Mi has sold out now for 2016 so the Brisket will be back shortly. As soon as the product is in we will put up a photo and start selling them again!
